Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Travel Agent - Reservation to join our team.

As a Travel Agent - Reservation, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their travel reservations, including booking flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services.

You will provide exceptional customer service, ensure accurate and timely bookings, and handle inquiries and changes to travel itineraries.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in making travel reservations, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travelrelated services.
  • Research and provide clients with options, pricing, and availability for their desired travel arrangements.
  • Understand clients' preferences, requirements, and budgets to recommend appropriate travel options.
  • Book flights, accommodations, rental cars, and other travel services using reservation systems and software.
  • Ensure accurate entry of client information, travel dates, and preferences in the reservation systems.
  • Process payment transactions and provide clients with relevant booking confirmations and itineraries.
  • Stay updated on airline schedules, hotel rates, and travel promotions to provide clients with the best options.
  • Handle client inquiries, concerns, and changes to travel itineraries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist clients with visa requirements, travel insurance, and any other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other travel suppliers to confirm reservations and resolve any issues or special requests.
  • Collaborate with other travel agents and team members to share information and ensure seamless customer service.
  • Stay informed about travel industry regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Keep accurate records of client interactions, reservations, and payments.
  • Provide support and assistance to clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Continuously update knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and travel industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Travel and Tourism is a plus.
  • Proven work experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role, with a focus on reservations.
  • Excellent knowledge of travel destinations, airlines, hotels, and travel industry trends.
  • Proficient in using reservation systems, booking platforms, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong customer service skills with a customerfocused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple reservations and inquiries.
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to handle changes or issues with travel reservations.
  • Familiarity with travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance options.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Fluency in additional languages is an advantage.

Salary:
AED2, AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
