Let's work together to achieve great things.Job DescriptionThe role is working in the Group Funding team which is part of the Group Treasury function.
The main focus of the role is assisting with post issuance workflow to ensure trades are accurately captured, documented and settled.
The role is primarily focused on the post execution phase of the issuance process and reporting.The role will also assist in establishing and updating the Group's debt securities programs, producing materials for internal and external presentations and providing quotes internally for deposit origination and termination based on pre-approved matrices.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Recommending Execution of Debt and Derivative TransactionsUnderstand debt market dynamics through independent researchUnderstand debt issuance opportunities including hedging derivativesReview and ensure that trade parameters are within approved policy and risk limits prior to execution.
Post Trade ManagementAssist with debt trade documentation end to endWork with Operations team to ensure debt and derivative settlementEnsure accurate trade capture and reporting for all transactions.
Program Establishment and MaintenanceAssist in the establishment and update of the Group's debt issuance programsEngage with different stakeholders across the Group to ensure timeliness and accuracy of information.
Internal Pricing and ClassificationQuote internal pricing for deposit origination and termination based on pre-approved matrices#LI-MA3QualificationsEmirati with family book.Tertiary qualified with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years experience in a related fieldAbility to interpret key bank ratios and economic indicatorsFluent in spoken and written EnglishSelf-starter with a hands-on approach; able to work independently and diligently on all mattersMulti-task, prioritize deliverables with a balance between attention to detail and timely decision makingAware of local and international banking environmentIntermediate Excel experience and well versed with MS Office
