Network Engineer / Consultant

Jouw werkzaamheden:

  • Pre-sales: het met advies ondersteunen van onze ict-partners en eindklanten. Je helpt met het offerteproces en stelt architectuur- en ontwerpadviezen op samen met je collega's;
    Consultancy: wensen en eisen vertalen naar een passende oplossing;
  • Design: ontwerpen van netwerk-/security infrastructuren;
  • Plan van aanpak: een stappenplan schrijven voor een gestructureerde netwerkuitrol zonder onnodige verstoring;
  • Implementatie, configuratie en onsite nazorg;
  • Verzorgen van documentatie van de ontwikkelingen en wijzigingen;

Als network engineer / consultant ben je werkzaam in een dynamisch deel van de ICT-sector. Netwerken staan nooit stil en ontwikkelen snel. Je ontwerpt, implementeert en beheert netwerken van onze klanten.Van wireless tot aan datacenter, niks is onmogelijk. Van netwerken met een paar componenten tot aan volledige ziekenhuizen, gemeenten en scholen. Naast netwerken komt ook het security-aspect aan bod. Zaken als 802.1x, firewalling en certificaten sluiten 1-op-1 aan op de networking diensten.

Je werkzaamheden als network engineer / consultant zijn net zo dynamisch als de omgeving waar je werkt. Het ene moment maak je een design voor een zorginstelling, het andere moment ben je in een zware troubleshoot klus beland op wireless in een ziekenhuis. Geen dag is hetzelfde in netwerkland.

  • Je werkt en denkt op HBO-niveau, je hebt relevante networking certificeringen of bent bereid deze te behalen.
  • Je bent een kei in je vakgebied: je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in networking, beheer & support of security. Allround mag natuurlijk ook
  • Je hebt ruime ervaring in het schrijven van design documenten (high – low level design) en het adviseren van klanten.
  • Je kunt goed uit de voeten met firewalls.
  • Je vindt het leuk om aan steeds wisselende projecten te werken.
  • Je wilt je eigen knowhow in jouw specialisme blijven ontwikkelen en werkt graag met nieuwe producten.
  • Je bent een teamspeler pur sang met proactieve houding en commerciële inslag.
  • Je bent oplossingsgericht in je denken en handelen.
  • Je communiceert helder en legt gemakkelijk contact.
  • Je bent betrokken en daadkrachtig: je staat voor je zaak.
  • En natuurlijk spreek en schrijf je goed Nederlands.
