Position Overview:

The Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of a clinic by providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, the receptionist creates a positive and welcoming environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

MUST BE ABLE TO JOIN THE TEAM BY MID AUGUST - LATEST END OF AUGUST.

ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and Check-in:

Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to. Verify patient information, collect necessary paperwork, and update records as required.

Appointment Scheduling:

Efficiently manage appointment bookings, either in person, over the phone, or through electronic systems. Coordinate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.

Patient Registration:

Collect accurate patient information, such as personal details, medical history, insurance information, and consent forms. Ensure all required documentation is completed and updated in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Billing and Insurance Verification:

Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and accurately enter billing and insurance information into the system. Explain financial policies, collect co-payments, and provide assistance with billing inquiries.

Medical Records Management:

Maintain patient files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Retrieve and update medical records as required, scan and upload documents into the EHR system, and assist with record requests and release of information.


Cash Handling:

Manage cash transactions, handle payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each day and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Office Support:

Provide general administrative support, such as sorting and distributing mail, ordering office supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, and assisting other staff members with tasks when needed.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.

Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a MUST
:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic health records (EHR), and scheduling software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations.
  • Problemsolving and conflictresolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

Salary:

AED5, AED5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
