Manufacturing Engineer:

The Manufacturing Engineer role in Flow controls will be supporting for development and manufacturing of Fisher Control Valves. This role will help the organization to achieve Operational Excellence Engineering Excellence and Digitalization and set high standards for HSE & Sustainability.

This individual will work closely with other functional groups and world area manufacturing sites with a focus on driving solutions to best serve our internal and external customers.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  1. Handle the New Item Activation Process Data Maintenance and ECRN (Engineering Change Request Notification) process in Oracle.
  2. Establish Sales BOM Manufacturing BOM Routings and Nonstandard work orders in Oracle.
  3. Review and act on the Engineering requests raised by Purchase Planning Production Quality and Stores team.
  4. Support the Plant Quality by participating in MRB RFT meetings and provide Engineering solutions.
  5. Apply Lean 5S principle to all manufacturing systems processes and technologies.
  6. Identify cost reductions and drive continuous improvements by applying lean principles.
  7. Drive Continuous and safety improvement programs in the Shop Floor.
  8. Handle all the requests for tools and equipments by identifying the suppliers and raising Purchase Requisition in system.
  9. Build 2D drawings for the fabrication of tools and fixtures.
  10. Construct 3D model and simulation for large fixtures.
  11. Implement the preventive maintenance program for all machinery in the shop floor.
  12. Collaborate with the Production team in crafting SOPs Work Instructions Maintenance checklist Risk Assessment for all shop floor activities.
  13. Define manufacturing concepts by knowing the latest on industry trends and technology advancements.
  14. Implement manufacturing practices that are balanced digitalized and automated by using Industry 4.0 concepts.
  15. Ensure the manufacturing assets and processes meet the ESH requirements and regulatory requirements set by Emerson OSHA ISO and local laws.
  16. Implement new process and organisational change in shop floor through the MOC (Management of Change) process.
  17. Identify the CAPEX Project requirements on yearly basis raise Appropriation Requests (AR) in system and drive the project implementation until handover.
  18. Support the Operations team in setting up training programs for Product Process and Machineries.
  19. Implement the software used in all Machineries on a yearly basis.
  20. Participate in safety audits and inspections review all Operations Risk and take appropriate actions in the form of Risk Assessments and velocity Hazard logging.
Who you are:

Ability to perform under pressure.

Strong ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.

Hands-on experience in crafting tools and fixture.

Ability to build 2D 3D drawings in modeling software and conduct simulation for structural integrity.

Good knowledge of electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

For this Role You Will Need:

Exposure to Industry 4.0 techniques like Automation Machine Learning IIOT 3D printing and Robotics.

Experience in handling Maintenance of plant machineries.

Experience in working with ERP system MS Office Skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Engineering/bachelors degree in mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical.

2 to 5 years experience in Manufacturing Environment.
