Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and in line with our commitment to authenticity and quality.
  • Design, develop, and introduce new dishes and menus, infusing traditional Russian recipes with creative flair and contemporary techniques.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including Demi Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs, fostering a culture of excellence, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and work closely with suppliers to ensure the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used.
  • Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining an impeccably clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary and management teams to enhance the overall dining experience, contributing to the restaurant's reputation for authentic and innovative Russian cuisine.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, with significant time spent specializing in Russian cuisine—a must for this role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of traditional Russian dishes, ingredients, and cooking techniques, with a passion for exploring and expanding on this rich culinary heritage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong organizational and management skills.
  • Creativity in menu development, with a keen eye for presentation and a commitment to maintaining the authenticity of Russian culinary traditions.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, with the ability to manage a fastpaced kitchen environment effectively.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, aligning with our operating hours.
