Position Overview:


As an F&B (Food and Beverage) Strategist Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance the food and beverage operations of a company or organization.

You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to drive growth, improve profitability, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for customers.

Your role will involve analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and formulating strategies to achieve business objectives in the F&B sector.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute F&B strategies: Create comprehensive plans and strategies to improve the company's F&B offerings, including menu development, pricing strategies, sourcing strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Market analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify current trends, consumer preferences, and competitors' activities. Use this information to inform decisionmaking and develop innovative F&B concepts.
  • Financial analysis: Analyze financial data related to F&B operations, including sales, costs, and profit margins. Identify areas for improvement, costsaving opportunities, and revenueenhancing initiatives.
  • Menu development and optimization: Collaborate with culinary teams to design menus that align with customer preferences, dietary trends, and profitability goals. Continuously evaluate and optimize menu offerings based on customer feedback and market demands.
  • Vendor management: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing procurement processes to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Operational efficiency: Work closely with operations teams to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve overall efficiency in F&B operations. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to maintain consistent quality across locations.
  • Staff training and development: Provide guidance and training to F&B teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service and uphold the company's standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams: Partner with marketing departments to develop promotional campaigns, branding initiatives, and customer engagement strategies that drive traffic and increase sales in F&B outlets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 57 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on strategy, operations, or management roles. Prior experience in a leadership position is highly desirable.
  • Strategic mindset: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market trends, understand customer needs, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Business acumen: Indepth understanding of financial analysis, cost control, and revenue management in the F&B industry. Ability to analyze financial data, identify areas of improvement, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Culinary knowledge: Familiarity with culinary concepts, menu development, and food trends. Understanding of ingredient sourcing, food safety, and quality standards.
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and resultsdriven work environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with crossfunctional teams.
  • Vendor management: Experience in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions and business priorities.
  • Industry knowledge: Uptodate knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the F&B sector.
  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications in F&B management are a plus.
