We are looking for a laundry attendant who will be responsible for assisting the washers, pressers and other members of the laundry team in providing a clean and timely laundry service to guests and internal customers.

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be delivering:

FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Assists in sorting hotel and guest linen for washing to ensure durability and quality.
• Helps in timely loading and unloading of machines according to instructions given
• Ensures timely addition of chemicals in proper quantity.

OUR PEOPLE

• Ensures general cleanliness of the entire laundry department.
• Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook.
• Comply with Company Grooming Standards.
• Comply with Time and Attendance Policies.
• Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self development.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Assists in transferring linen and clothes between machines to ensure accurate delivery
• Maintains proper temperature, pressure and water level
• Ensures machines and areas are kept free of lint.
• Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards including:
• Being attentive to guests.
• Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest's requests.
• Anticipate guest's needs.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest experience.
• Demonstrating a 'service' attitude.
• Taking appropriate action to resolve guest complaints.
• Appreciate the dynamic nature of the Hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers.

QUALIFICATION

• High school or college graduate
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the same field
• Good communication skills
• Willing to work on shifting schedule
