Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Senior Bartender at Dubai Holding Entertainment. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

As a Senior Bartender you will be responsible for providing the highest level of hospitality when preparing and providing beverages service at Ain Dubai. By Demonstrating excellent bar knowledge, guest services & standards. The purpose of this role is to support the smooth running of all food & beverage outlets within the operation, to maintain the required standards in relation to hospitality, efficiency, and professionalism. As a senior bartender you must provide leadership expertise & ensure operational efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain an effective bar service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service.
• Check that Guest service standards are set, implemented, and monitored, and continuously evaluated.
• Ensures that all colleagues adhere to all food hygiene regulations (HACCP) and procedures, follow up on weekly/monthly hygiene inspections are carried out in a timely manner.
• Assists management to maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures and ensures that all colleagues have a working knowledge and follow the SOPs at all times.
• Set-up of the operation unit in accordance with the pre-determined standards of the operation
• Comply with licensing regulations and F&B procedures relating to the bar and service of alcoholic beverages and conduct staff training sessions accordingly.
• Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (to recipe) and presented, and how Bar personnel are trained to possess this knowledge and the application of it.
• Ensure compliance with and the proper training of Team Members so that all Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures are understood and applied.
• Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards.
• Deal with sudden staff shortages through absenteeism and report all absences according to Company Attendance Procedures
• Complete all necessary administration in accordance with Company procedures relating to all staff members.
• Maximize revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high customer service standards, effective training and motivational techniquesConducts Equipment and Beverage inventories and ensures no variances in beverage inventories.
• Assist the Assistant Manage to initiate ideas/projects for revenue maximization.
• Understand the Goals/Targets set by the Management for the Outlet and work towards achieving it.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management
• WSET Level-2 or international beverage certified course.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Experience

• Minimum 2 + years of Hotel experience with at least 1 year in a 5-star operation environment.
• Knowledgeable in food and beverage service standards and up-selling skills
• Knowledgeable on Micros and procurement system and Cashiering process
