Ecocoast, a global leader in engineered products for the protection of coastlines, waterways and critical infrastructure, is looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager.

The PM will have a wide breadth of responsibilities, from managing installation and maintenance service projects to providing clients with technical support, training, and installation supervision.

The role will primarily be a client-facing role, assisting clients in the UAE and internationally to select, install, maintain, remove, and re-use marine barrier products.


As there will be a large component of client interaction and relationship management, as well as manpower training and development, we are looking for someone with excellent people and communication skills.

They also need to demonstrate strong technical skills to inspire confidence in their position as a product leader in our market.


What will you do?

  • Primary point of contact assisting clients with product selection, installation, maintenance, removal and reuse of all marine barrier products, locally and internationally.
  • Provide client technical support, manpower training and installation supervision.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Submit project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Manage customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
  • Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of marine barrier installation projects, from estimation, resources allocation, planning, execution, client management and close outs, aiming a 100% completion on time & client satisfaction, within the scope & budget.
  • Attends site visits and client's meetings, providing operational and technical solutions.
  • Ensures that HSE management systems, QA/C are implemented & regularly reviewed throughout the life of the installation & maintenance services.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a projects management role, preferably in the marine industry, including marine barriers, aids to navigation, inland waterways, oil containment, turbidity measures, coastal protection & aquaculture will help you get on board.
  • Hands on approach, experience leading small to mediumsize teams including labors as well as engineers and technical profiles.
  • Experience with all relevant business functions including project management, maintenance & services, supply chain, and engineering in the same industry.
  • Experience with installation services, maintenance, project tracking, creating organizational consensus, and managing deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience in estimation and proposals, business development and client management.
  • Lead by example and willingness to roll up your sleeves side by side with Ecocoast and client teams.
  • Has the passion for working in a fastpaced agile environment.
  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Marine/Coastal Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant technical discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Budget management experience.
