We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who is ready to join our mission in creating a #CyberFit futureWe are looking for a Senior Solution Engineer who will be an integral part of the entire sales cycle helping to achieve technical wins and to drive the adoption of our solutions and products.

You will get a chance to be a key member of the Sales organization, responsible for the design and architecture of Acronis platform solutions.

This is a very dynamic role and you will have the option to evolve and take your career to the next level.

The ideal candidate would have worked with cloud & security technologies or vendors, consulted or did solution sales, and be passionate about understanding new technologies in cloud computing and security space.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Work closely with our sales team as well as other business partners inarticulating solutions to our service providers, partners, and end customersParticipate in meetings as an Acronis technology expert, conduct demos andpitch Acronis products and technologies throughout the entire sales cycle and beyondEngage with our customers, partners, service providers, and internalaccount teams to execute and coordinate activities to sell AcronissolutionsAnalyze prospective partners' and customers' business requirements, go tomarket strategy, security, audit, retention, and other policies associated withprotection or transfer of the data.

Strategic Account Management in collaboration with Acronis AccountManagers to influence, develop, and manage sales account strategiesFacilitate and manage customer evaluations, and proof of concept activities for Acronis' solutionsPerform technical troubleshooting and achieve technical wins during the pre-sales processPosition compelling solutions targeted at solving the customer's businessproblems, over and above specific technical requirements, and acting astechnical advisor to the customerConduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer of Acronis' solutions to customers/channel partnersGather technical requirements, develop cost-effective designs and solutions, and present them in front of our prospectsDevelop response to RFIs & RFPsAnalyze prospective partners' and customers' business requirements, go tomarket strategy, security, audit, retention, and other policies associated withprotection or transfer of dataIdentify needs to integrate MSPs RMM platforms with our AcronisPlatform.

Assist during the technical integration and work closely with cross-functional and regional teamsUnderstand complex customer needs and develop innovative solutionsProvide customer and market input to Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and other pertinent groups within AcronisCoach & mentor new hires and Junior Solution Engineers
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
5+ years of experience in a relevant positionProven experience in a Cyber Security company demonstrating a strong understanding of industry practices and protocolsRelevant experience with data center IT architecture design andCloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google WorkspaceBackup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage solution design experienceExperience with Hyper-V & VMware Virtualization platforms (other platforms beneficial)

Security experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Antivirus / Ransomware Protection
  • Patch Management
  • Vulnerability Assessment
  • EDR/MDR/XDR
  • Email Security
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
  • Network SecurityStrong Project Management skillsComfortable to develop & present business continuity solutionsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Linux or other operating-systems beneficial)Technical background in databases like MS SQL, MS Exchange and MSSharePoint; additional knowledge of Oracle, and MariaDB usefulThe ability to articulate technical and business value propositionsKnowledge of technologies and product offerings for cloud-basedservices/solutions of competitors plus knowledge and experience of customerand sales opportunity management practicesAnalytical / Interpersonal Skills
  • Must be a good listener, creative, intuitive, and have the ability to resolve problems in potentially stressful situationsExperience to establish high-level customer relationships and actively workingon the customer/reseller/service provider side with the respective interfaceAbility to articulate and understand Acronis technologies and the benefitsthat can be applied with applications of Acronis solutionBeing a team player, proactive and dynamic, prepared to engage on social platforms about relevant technical topicsHigh level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in afast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracyMust display effective management of time and resources with strong projectmanagement skills.
