Position Overview
The Head of Finance plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing all financial aspects of the organization.

This position is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring the integrity of financial information, and contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the business.

The Head of Finance reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborates with other department heads to drive financial efficiency and growth.

Responsible for the development and implementation of good internal controls, management of risk, and utilisation and safeguarding of assets.


Supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, developing financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments and managing tax compliance.


Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Develop and implement financial planning strategies to support the organization's shortterm and longterm goals.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct financial analysis and present findings to the COO and Founders (and auditors when required).

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors.

Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs.
  • Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess financial risks proposing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the organisation.
  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the group including those that are forecast so that we can plan ahead as a business.

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and the board.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the organisations's overall business strategy.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and develop a highperforming finance team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development.

Treasury and Investment Management
Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and debt management.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • You can communicate in both English and Arabic.

Experience and Qualification required.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, professional certification. CPA or ACCA is required.
  • Proven experience not less than 10 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably as a Finance Director or Financial Controller
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Indepth knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, compliance., companies merge, purchase, and consolidation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing financial systems and processes.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
