Key Responsibilities:

Collections Management:

  • Contacting educational institutions, students, and other relevant parties to recover outstanding payments.
  • Utilizing effective negotiation and persuasion techniques to secure timely payments and resolve outstanding issues.

Customer Engagement:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with educational institutions, students, and key stakeholders.
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries related to payments, billing, and account reconciliation.

Data Management:

  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all communication and transactions in the company's CRM system.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial data to assess the financial status of clients and propose suitable solutions.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the educational sector when engaging in collections activities.
  • Documenting all communications, agreements, and payment arrangements in accordance with company policies.

Reporting:

  • Generating regular reports on collection activities, outstanding balances, and progress towards targets.
  • Collaborating with the management team to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ Years of proven experience as a Collections Telesales Officer, preferably in the educational sector.
  • Strong understanding of the collections process and experience in negotiating payment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing collections in the educational sector.
  • Goaloriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
