You will be responsible for envisioning, managing and supervising the Information Technology department. This position requires a strong understanding of Application Systems, Cloud & infrastructure, Softwares, and IT Security.

Management of the IT team to ensure the IT needs of MOALAJAH are fulfilled and are aligned to the overall organizational objectives.

You will play a vital role in the decision-making process regarding technology adoption and process improvement initiatives.

Role and responsibilities:

IT Department Management

  • Manage the organization's IT department including Cloud, Infrastructure, Software Development, Security, and IT Service Management.
  • Define and develop IT roadmap and strategies with a high level vision of short and long term goal
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of the organization's data and systems.
  • Manage KPIs and recommend process changes in conjunction with section and department heads.
  • Prepare the yearly IT budget, periodic forecasts and monitor financial performance versus the budget, and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are realized.
  • Manage Vendors and contract with establishment of good relationships and negotiations related to IT Software / hardware / Support procurement. Provide a business case along with vendor comparison and recommendation while procuring new systems.
  • Develop a proactive working relationship with all authorities and assist in establishing areas for service improvement
  • Ensure IT capabilities are updated and communicated in a timely manner whenever required in an accurate departmental presentation and reports
  • Ensure the adherence to the Nondisclosure Agreement and company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Hire, train, and manage IT staff, including setting goals, evaluating performance, and providing feedback
  • Inspire and motivate IT team, provide direction and manage their performances
  • Adherence to all data protection law applied in the organization and to ensure all the employees and vendors are following the process and procedures

Technical Expertise

  • Provide expert strategic and technical advice to the stakeholders to influence decisions regarding ICT initiatives and innovation
  • Develop a vision for entire Infrastructure and Application Landscape and their expansions
  • Continues Development, Implementation & Deployment
  • Manage continuous improvement of procedures, processes, and systems, with a focus on improving quality, increasing efficiency, reducing risk, and to improve performance
  • Develop and manage Disaster Recovery and Backup strategy to ensure availability and Business Continuity
  • Direct Infrastructure team to plan and implement major modifications to the supporting infrastructure including Cloud
