The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating ocular health issues, and prescribing corrective lenses. The salary offered is AED 1300 per month. We are willing to consider applications from immigrants.
Job Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams including visual acuity tests, refraction tests and ophthalmoscopy
  • Use specialized equipment to diagnose and treat ocular health issues such as glaucoma and cataracts
  • Prescribe contact lenses or eyeglasses as needed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
  • Educate patients on proper eye care habits such as hygiene practices
  • Maintain accurate records of patient history, treatments and progressRequirements
  • Bachelor's degree in optometry or a related field
  • Previous experience working as an optometrist
  • Knowledge of local healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients in a professional manner
