The school principal's responsibilities at DGPS will include providing strategic and operational leadership direction to ensure the highest education standards are delivered.

These standards include leading with the school's vision and values, leading and managing staff, assessing teaching methods and monitoring student achievement, overseeing student recruitment and retention, and strengthening the school's capacity to improve.

The principal will work with the school owner, governing body, and school community to create a challenging, engaging and fulfilling learning environment.

They will have experience in raising standards in teaching and learning, strategic planning, financial/budget management, staff recruitment and development, encouraging parent involvement, revising policies and procedures, and overseeing facilities to ensure they remain a safe learning environment for students and faculty, along with planning regular maintenance of school grounds and equipment.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Relevant bachelor's in education or BA with a PGCE, along with at least four years of senior leadership experience is our minimum requirement
• NPQH or master's in Educational Leadership would be advantageous
• Fully qualified teachers holding Qualified Teacher Status with significant expertise and experience in delivering and leading Outstanding teaching practice within the National Curriculum for England for Primary and/or Secondary.
• Committed professional who is dedicated to raising standards, in alignment with the school's vision, mission and values.
