Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including street lights, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs or adjustments under supervision.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on street lights, including bulb replacement, wiring checks, and fixture cleaning.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used, services provided, and hours worked.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and to customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in electrical work preferred.
  • Some experience in electrical installations, maintenance, or repair work is desirable.
  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools used in the electrical trade.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
