Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate paint and coating products according to customer and industry requirements
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure quality and performance standards
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to paint and coating formulations
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all formulation and testing activities
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in paint and coating technologies
  • Provide technical support to customers, including addressing inquiries and resolving any productrelated concerns
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new product development projects
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in quality control of construction chemicals & surface coatings. Experience with quality control of raw materials in paint industry. Tinting / colour matching experience required
  • Additional experience in building chemicals industry preferred.

Skills:

  • Experience in computer colour tinting system is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes and materials used in paint and coating production
  • Experience in using laboratory equipment and conducting various tests, such as viscosity, adhesion, and color matching
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • Proficiency in computer software and tools used for data analysis and formulation
  • Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to chemical handling and storage

Job Types:

AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
