Purpose of the roleKcal is actively seeking a seasoned and innovative UX/UI designer who embodies the essence of design thinking.

In this role, you will lead the charge in establishing top-tier design and user experience standards for our digital products.

Your responsibilities will encompass the full design lifecycle, beginning with meticulous research, followed by close collaboration with cross-functional teams including creative, software development, and key stakeholders.

You'll be responsible for crafting user-centric solutions, encompassing user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, ultimately shaping the future of our product offerings.

Join us and help drive excellence in digital design and user experience at Kcal. This position is based in our head office in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai.
Key Areas of ResponsibilitiesCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to define and enhance user experiences across digital products and services.
Conduct comprehensive user research activities, such as usability testing, in-depth interviews, workshops, and ethnographic studies.
Advocate for and implement accessibility criteria to ensure inclusivity in our digital offerings.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital landscape.
Work collaboratively on large-scale projects across various teams and squads, ensuring a user-centred approach.
Define multi-channel digital experiences aligned with our user-centered principles.
Professional RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Design, UI/UX or other relevant designing field.
With 3-4 years professional experience in UI/UX Design, with an online portfolio of exceptional design projects.
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch) is a must.

Has proven working knowledge of and highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (notably Photoshop, Illustrator).Ability to visualize innovative solutions beyond the simple use of software.

Interpersonal RequirementsStrong command of the English language (spoken) and excellent writing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills - you'll be interacting with a culturally diverse teamProblem solving abilities.
Ability to self-manage activities with minimal supervision.
Takes feedback constructively.
