QA/QC SUPERVISOR required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Operator, to be assigned on a Contract basis, located in Dubai, UAE

DURATION
1 year contract, renewable

SCHEDULE residence, 5 days per week (with work on weekends if deemed necessary)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ensuring all quality requirements are met for the onshore URF fabrication scope at Contractor Fabrication facility in UAE
  • Provide QC expertise during fabrication.
  • Physically oversee and monitor the execution of structure fabrication and report to EPCI Fabrication Manager on technical matters related to the execution and as when required liaise with project Quality Manager.
  • Managing the quality aspects of Material, Welding and NDE activities during the Project Construction Phase
  • Ensuring all quality records are complete and document acceptance of the structure fabrication in accordance with approved ITPs and Company BoD and Specifications.
  • Respecting HSE rules and requirements and ensuring that the design and the resulting operations will be performed in compliance with a high regard to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree
  • Valid Senior Welding inspector (SCWI) and NDT L2/L3 certifications
  • 15+ years' experience working for oil and gas exploration / production companies with a proven track record in similar positions
  • Experience in managing the quality aspects of Material, Welding and NDE activities during the Project Construction Phase
  • PMT/client representative in QC audits of construction yards related to Material, Welding and NDE
  • Fully familiar with Pipeline and Structure Codes e.g., API 1104 / DnVGL-STF101 / ASME etc.
