SUMMARY OF POSITION
A Head Waiter oversees the Restaurant section as allocated. Head waiter uplifts the dining experience for customers by providing engaging and personalized service. Being attentive and anticipating guest needs whilst making informed suggestions of menu items. Provide impeccable guest service to ensure guest loyalty.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

  • To work adhering to policies & quality standards in all daily task
  • Report to work on time (10 minutes earlier)
  • Welcoming guests always, Smiling is part of our job.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any complaints.
  • Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed daily.
  • Taking guest food orders and communicating the details to kitchen personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant policies and procedures.
  • Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items and making recommendations.
  • Set up tables/dining areas and food stations as per operational requirements.
  • Fillin for fellow employees where needed to ensure guests service standards and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
  • Maximize revenues by upselling and following budget guidelines.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Always ensure cleanliness of workstations.
  • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to the washing area for cleaning.
  • Serves food or beverages to guests following the restaurant service standards.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures established as assigned.
  • Follow up on runners if they are delivering food and beverages accurately.
  • Have full knowledge of all menus and promotions.
  • Prepare and follow up on checklist given to him by his upper manager.
  • Work at top speed always even if operation is slow.
  • Work during holidays, events and over times when requested.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • To consistently offer professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues.
  • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any complaints.
  • Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed daily.
  • Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items and making recommendations.
  • Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
  • Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
  • Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience working busy restaurant environment at a similar level
  • Strong communication skills
  • Show passion for industry and food.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have the stamina to work for long hours based on business requirements.

Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
