Administration and Events Officer
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Administration and Events Officer to join our team. The Administration and Events Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organization and coordinating events.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the management team and other staff members
- Organize and maintain office files, records, and databases
- Coordinate office activities, including meetings, appointments, and events
- Manage office equipment and supplies, and ensure that they are properly maintained
- Assist with financial and budget management, including processing invoices and expenses
- Plan and execute events, including venue selection, event design, catering, and entertainment
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, sponsors, and attendees
- Manage event logistics, including budget management, event registration, and event setup and teardown
- Create and distribute event materials, including invitations, programs, and promotional materials
- Ensure that events are executed smoothly and professionally, and that all stakeholders are satisfied with the event experience
- Evaluate the success of events and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administration and Events Officer or similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, event planning, hospitality management, or a related field preferred
