Academic Advisor

As an Academic Advisor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their academic journey, providing support, resources, and guidance to help them achieve their educational goals.

• Convert leads into enrolled students through effective communication and followup.
• Provide academic advising to students, assisting them in course selection, degree planning, and career exploration.
• Make outbound calls to prospective students to provide information about academic programs and services.
• Maintain daily detailed records of interactions with leads and enrolled students.
• Provide guidance and support to students throughout their academic journey, assisting with course selection, degree planning, and career exploration as needed.
• Stay uptodate on program requirements, curriculum changes, and academic policies to provide accurate and relevant information to students.
• Participate in orientation sessions, workshops, marketing events and other events to support student success and retention efforts.

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of one year of previous experience in the education field as an academic advisor or similar role.
• Experience in telecounseling or telemarketing is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office
