MEP Inspector

Parsons is seeking a skilled MEP Inspector to join our team and play a crucial role in monitoring, inspecting, coordinating, and documenting all MEP works for an infrastructure project. The primary goal is to ensure that the project complies with contractual requirements and specifications.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support Mechanical and Electrical Engineers with on-site contractual duties.
- Maintain a detailed daily diary of work activities, issues, approvals/rejections, hours of operation, labor, and equipment used.
- Respond to Inspection Requests (IR's) from the contractor promptly.
- Monitor work quality and safety at the site daily, ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications, and health/environmental regulations.
- Provide technical input to resolve discipline-related issues on-site.
- Oversee and inspect all electrical & instrumentation work to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Inspect electrical & instrumentation materials delivered to the site.
- Prepare necessary documentation prior to inspections and maintain records.
- Utilize project quality control procedures for construction supervision.
- Communicate site progress information regularly.
Required Skills:
- BSc. or Diploma in MEP Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical and mechanical construction on infrastructure projects.
- Experience in the GCC region is advantageous.
Desired Skills:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interpret construction specifications and processes.
- Proficiency in computer technology for data access, record-keeping, and report generation.
