This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our clients, while maintaining the highest safety standards.


Job Description:


As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one place to another using heavy or tractor-trailer trucks.

You will be operating trucks with a capacity of at least 50 metric tons and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Your focus on safety and efficient operation will help us maintain our reputation for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport and deliver goods in accordance with specified routes and schedules
  • Manage loading and unloading of cargo
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements
  • Follow all laws and regulations regarding size, weight, route designations, and parking
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
  • Report any incidents encountered on the road
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouses and customers

Qualifications:

  • Valid heavy truck driver license.
  • A clean driving record with no moving violations
  • Proficiency in operating equipment and heavy machinery
  • Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, WhatsApp)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)

AED2, AED4,000.00 per month
