The Senior Platform owner – Workflows and Productivity Systems role is leading productivity management applications within Enterprise Systems Platform unit. This entails working in classical waterfall software development methodology and Scrumban which involves management of a number of subject matter experts including vendor teams. The Senior Platform owner is responsible for the leadership, technology direction, application development, implementation, maintenance, and support of all productivity enterprise applications. In this position he/she coordinates and manages various product teams that will consist of software engineers/ solution architects/test engineers /product owners and vendors to drive successful delivery of projects in line with quality, time, and cost targets.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across IT and clients.
  • Serve as highest project internal escalation level.
  • Ensure projects are aligned to and deliver against the Business objectives.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve common objectives.
  • Ensure maintaining Data confidentiality.
  • Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costings and estimates are as accurate as possible.
  • Work with Business representative to ensure alignment of delivery with Business demand
  • Leading the product teams in delivering world class platform solutions.
  • Ensuring value added proposition in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning vendor product / industry roadmap of platforms with the business strategy thus enabling an effective business growth.
  • Acquire, groom and retain talent pertaining to the platform.
  • Motivate and lead a team of professionals.
  • Promoting diverse culture while sourcing talent.
  • Enable National leadership initiatives through grooming the right talent.

Required Qualifications:

  • General banking and business area knowledge is necessary in order to steer necessary implementations according to bank strategy. Additional deep ENBD-specific knowledge of the business requirements for the underlying backend as well as current regulatory topics and responsibilities preferred.
  • Experience in applying waterfall implementation methodology along with corresponding project management methodology (capacity planning, vendor management, medium scale development coordination) which also comprises management of interfaces and dependencies to other platform teams and also in connection with the agile teams. Additional overview of current testing practices and infrastructure requirements relevant.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing delivery and implementation of Enterprise Applications.
  • Strong functional knowledge and experience in Enterprise Applications like Workflow and productivity Applications like Genesys IWD, Digital Signing App, Audit Management (eg:TeamMate+) ,Robotics Automation (AA), Power Platform, Microsoft Sustainability Manager
  • Understanding of AMC's and Software Licensing both SaaS and On-prem models.
  • Strong stakeholder management, program management and vendor management skills.
  • Experience of managing teams and platforms for Application Support, upgrades & change and Problem management.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • ENBD applications and landscape knowledge is preferred.
