Must be proficient in design concepts using the latest WordPress and well-versed in development best practices, testing, & deployment phases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 4-6 years of IT experience in WordPress, including the latest CMS versions.
  • Write clean, well-designed code and contribute to all development lifecycle phases.
  • Hands-on experience with Web development technologies such as PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Proven skills in custom theme creation & customization, plugin development, and customization.
  • Familiarity with payment gateway integrations, 3rd party API integrations.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools like Git.
  • Create custom themes from HTML scratch.
  • Excellent communication, analytical & presentation skills.
Requirements
  • Develop WordPress CMS websites using best practices & standard plugins.
  • Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Strong working experience in WordPress & PHP.
  • Understanding of HOOKS concepts in WordPress.
  • Demonstrated delivery of 2-3 major projects in WordPress.
  • Customization knowledge in themes, templates, plugins, integration, and custom post types.
  • Familiarity with cross-platform, cross-browser issues, and web performance optimization.
  • Experience in developing multilingual support websites.
  • Hands-on involvement in web performance optimization.
  • Work experience with PHP Frameworks like Zend, Core, or Laravel would be beneficial.
  • Experience with Front End technologies like React, AngularJS, or similar and other web technologies is a plus.
