Responsibilities are as follows:
Knowledge of the shipping process and government regulations.
Have experience with international complex, industrial projects from being stationed abroad
Developing basic negotiation skills
Schedule the movement of shipments with carriers (via truck, ocean and air) to the assigned origin and/or destination points and follow up to ensure timely arrival negotiating rates with local carriers
Coordinate and work closely with appointed field contacts to ensure common objectives are met, support the Logistic Manager/Analyst to achieve corporate goals while providing recommendations of continuous process improvements
Assist in the day to day operations of export dept
Processing of documentation for the physical movement of cargo
Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with internal departments and/or vendors
Analyses complaints to identify recurring problems or patterns and inform management
Communicating client issues or changes to the next level
Answers telephone calls and forwards to appropriate personnel
Filing documents and other paper work

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
AED3, AED5,000.00 per month
