Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes according to the highest culinary standards.
  • Support senior chefs in the kitchen during food production and service.
  • Responsible for proper mise en place and stock rotation to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workstations and equipment.
  • Execute tasks assigned by senior chefs promptly and efficiently.
  • Actively participate in menu development and contribute innovative ideas for new dishes.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve seamless kitchen operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or finedining restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Preopening experience in a luxury hotel or resort is advantageous.
  • Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications in culinary arts is desirable.
  • Exceptional skills in food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
