Role and Responsibilities:

  • Internal team liaison to coordinate between all disciplines relevant for master planning
  • Development of land use datasets and understanding of various land use products, traffic network types, open spaces, and real estate development trends
  • Review master plan deliverables and comply with planning requirements
  • Coordinate with external consultants for land use projects analysis and master plan deliverables
  • Provide design guidance and align project goals
  • Engage with senior leadership to ensure project deliverables align with organizational objectives
  • Lead master planning design management for timely and quality-focused delivery
  • Support high-importance projects with strategic guidance
  • Organize consultant meetings, present master plans, and design strategies to senior management
  • Work closely with Project Management/Delivery Teams for project approvals
  • Review consultant documentation for alignment with project briefs and company standards
  • Develop RFPs, design briefs, and scopes of work for master plan projects
  • Promote innovation and excellence within the design team
  • Ensure designs align with sustainability goals and global design trends
  • Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and open communication
  • Nurture stakeholder relationships and provide specialized insights
  • Deliver design progress presentations and refine design processes
  • Attend management meetings, collaborate with Contracts and Delivery teams

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in relevant fields; Advanced degrees will be an advantage
  • Several years of experience in real estate design and development, with leadership roles
  • Experience in the Middle East, especially UAE/GCC Region
  • Diverse design portfolio showcasing multiple projects
  • Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
  • Knowledge of current design trends and technologies
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
  • Commitment to industry standards, continuous learning, and professional development
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Arabic preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of master planning design and experience leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong leadership skills, effective collaboration, and successful team management
  • Proficiency in Urban Design and Master Planning best practices
  • Ability to deliver impactful presentations and manage complex project data effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, project management, and original problem-solving capabilities
