  • Direct the site supervisionrelated to road and associated works including surface drainage,road's structures and traffic signals androad's furniture.
  • Coordinate hisdirect activities with the other discipline RE's tomaintain consistency and integrity in the overallconstruction.
  • Responsible for reviewing allshop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requestsfor information relating to the roads and associatedworks.
  • Coordinate with Parsons' designEngineers for resolution of relatedissues.
  • Maintain the ResidentEngineer's daily diary and daily diaries and reports byhis subordinates.
  • Coordinate with theContractor on scheduling and application ofresources.
  • Direct, assist and monitor theperformance of the construction team working on the supervision ofthe construction of the road work and associated works includingthe site engineers, the work inspectors and thesurveyors.
  • Coordinate with Client/PMC, theContractor and related concernedauthorities.
  • Advise on contractual andconstruction matters regarding road work and associated works,utilities diversions and installations, traffic diversions,road's furniture and other relatedworks.
  • Supervise, review, monitor and report onthe progress of the road and associatedworks.
  • Liaise with all parties for site safetyand quality of works.
  • Convene and chair regularsite meetings about issues related to road work and relatedactivities;
  • Issue additional drawings etc. asrequired in coordination with the designoffice.
  • Ensure prompt exchange ofcorrespondence and approvals.
  • Ensure accuracyand completeness of records.
  • Ensure safetygoals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation ofsafety procedures on the project.
  • Actpositively and participate in all health and safety issues at thesite, as required by the Senior Resident Engineer, and the ProjectSafety Representative.
  • Comply with safety,health and risk managementrequirements.
  • Provide all necessary on-sitedirection and issue indications concerning roadworks, utilities andother related activities.
  • Report back asnecessary to the Senior ResidentEngineer.
  • Check and measure the performed workand record and display progress vs programmedwork.
  • Prepare progress reports asapplicable.
  • Ensure correctness and completenessof 'as-built' drawings in the area of hisdiscipline.
  • Participate in contractadministration.
