Specific Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Seamen are responsible for the smooth operation of the majority of occurrences above deck.
  • Responsible for the Navigation and driving luxury Yacht Safety at least possible time
  • Compute positions, set course, and determine speeds, by using charts, area plotting sheets, compasses, sextants, and knowledge of local conditions and international conditions.
  • Signal Crew members or deckhands to rig tow line, open or close gates and ramps, and pull guard chain across entries.
  • Maintain boats and equipment on board, such as engines, winches, navigational system, fire extinguisher, and life preserver.
  • Driving Jet ski, Jet boat, out board engine and speedboat
  • Knowledge in diving and fishing
  • Assist with the maintenance and appearance of the vessel including responsibility for cleaning and polishing and general hygiene tasks.
  • Capable of performing almost any task in connection with deck maintenance, small boat operations, navigation, and supervising all personnel assigned to a ship's deck force or shore unit
    Coordinate fuel for the boat and assist with refuelling activities
:

  • Assist other crew members to ensure the passengers are upholding safe practices and that health & safety policies, particularly when the vessel is under way are practiced.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification, Knowledge and Skills:

  • DMCA Blue Card (12 meters)
VFH Radio Operator License

Required Certification:
Relevant firefighting and First Aid qualifications (STCW).

Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years' recent experience working as crew on a Yacht.

Conversant with and commitment to health and safety practices.

Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Working Hours: 8 hours / Day

Working Days:
Saturday till Thursday
