Qualification and Experience


Must have a minimum of 5 years UAE experience in Estimation and Quantity Surveying within a Joinery, Interior Decoration and Fitout company.

Proficiency in Written and Spoken English. Ability to communicate well.

IT Skills (Cost System & Microsoft Office,CAD,)

Extensive knowledge of production (joinery) and installation, and (joinery & fit-out) procedures

In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and excellent understanding of AutoCAD.

Strong market knowledge of materials, suppliers & subcontractors

Proven experience in Estimation of high-end medium to large prestigious fit out projects like,Commercial,Retail,Residential,Health care, Exhibition ,FM

Able to work under pressure, Aware of industry prices, highly proficient in numeracy, Good at Negotiation, Excellent problem-solving skills required

In depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas, Formatting

Valid UAE Driving License.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation & Submission of tender documents to client.

Providing detailed and budget estimate preparation/ quotes for al type of projects.

Preparing of detailed BOM, BOQ, Rate analysis based on design, drawing, site survey and relevant contract documents.

Visiting the site for verifying actual measurement and prepare measurement sheets


Identify and maintaining suppliers/vendor data base suitable vendors and float enquiries, prepare pre-qualified vendor database in consultation with the project team, participate in vendor selection meetings and confirm considerations with the procurement & project team.

Assist with procurement of all required materials and sub-contractors.

Review Design and provide inputs for material in terms of finalizing cost

Work on Valur engineering exercise based on project/tender requirements

Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team, Operations, Project Team, and client.

Follow up on quotes sent in a bid to close deals.

Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times etc. - Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting

  • Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions etc.)
Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)


Providing cost and material estimates, draw up projected budgets, and work alongside a team, noting any design changes and their effect on cost.

Maintain Confidentiality around sensitive information, Terms and Conditions

Storing data (Digitally & physically)

Prepare Ad hoc report, Documents based on project/tender requirements

Prepare Budget V/s actual cost report during close out of the projects

Create template for future use
