Responsibilities:

Corporate Structure:

Develop and implement effective corporate structures and organizational charts tailored to the unique requirements of FMCG trading, beauty distribution, and shipping operations.

Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and optimize organizational design.

Visa Status Management:

Oversee the management of employee visa statuses in Dubai, ensuring compliance with local regulations and the specific requirements of the shipping and distribution sectors.

Collaborate with legal and immigration authorities in the UAE to facilitate visa processing for international hires, considering the unique aspects of the shipping agency.


Compensation and Benefits:

Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs tailored to the diverse workforce involved in FMCG, beauty, and shipping operations.

Regularly review and benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness in the industry.

Employee Relations:
Foster positive employee relations within the distinct contexts of FMCG trading, beauty distribution, and shipping operations in Dubai. Address workplace concerns promptly and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, acknowledging the challenges inherent in the industry.

Departmental Strategies:

Work closely with department heads to align HR strategies with the unique goals of FMCG, beauty, and shipping operations.

Collaborate in the development and execution of department-specific HR plans that cater to the nuances of the distribution and shipping industry.


Performance Management:

Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, providing constructive feedback and facilitating professional development within the dynamic environment of distribution and shipping.

Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills in FMCG, beauty, and shipping roles.

Legal Compliance:
Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry-specific standards in Dubai and the UAE.

Stay informed about changes in employment laws and proactively update HR policies and practices to align with the complexities of distribution, shipping, and beauty sectors.


Employee Development:

Support the design and implementation of employee training and development programs tailored to the multifaceted roles in FMCG trading, beauty distribution, and shipping operations.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement within the distribution and shipping industry.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager with a focus on the intricacies of FMCG trading, beauty distribution, and inhouse shipping agency operations in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and industryspecific regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, considering the diverse workforce involved in distribution, shipping, and beauty sectors.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with the unique objectives of the distribution and shipping industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and employee relations within the challenging environment of distribution and shipping.
  • Familiarity with industryspecific HR challenges and best practices in FMCG trading, professional beauty distribution, and shipping sectors.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
