Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Responsible for management of all financial functions of the organization including but not limited to banking, financial accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and purchasing.
  • Oversee the operational management of all corporate financial responsibilities; oversee the Accounting, Sales Support and Credit departments; administer and control the disbursement of company funds; protect the corporate assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls; monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.
  • Compile the corporate operating and capital budgets in a timely, accurate fashion by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
  • Monitor spending throughout the year, ensuring that expenditures are within budget; investigate variances.
  • Ensure efficient and effective financial processes (A/P, A/R, Billing, P/R, G/L, etc.).
  • Provide assistance and guidance in financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison for all partnerships, assisting as requested, to ensure a profitable return on company's investments.
  • Formulate department goals and objectives which support the corporate vision, mission and goals and follow the vision in a timely manner; develop and maintain measurement systems which support and measure goals; use Total Quality Management tools and practices to accomplish goals; review, update, and make appropriate adjustments as necessary.
  • Comply with local tax and legal requirements by remaining knowledgeable on current and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Prepare the monthly consolidated financial statements with the highest level of accuracy and within the timeline including trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statements, ratios, balance sheet schedules and any other report or information required by superiors.
  • Responsible for controlling fixed assets, including tagging, yearly physical verification, and impairment testing.
  • Analyzes financial statements, cost controls, revenues, expenses, and cash flow and makes recommendations to key managers to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinates and monitors the organizations insurance needs/requirements to ensure appropriate levels of risk and protection of company assets. Keep all insurance policies are kept valid and renewed timely.
  • Manages company credit and collections closely to minimize aged receivables and writeoffs.
  • Coordinates and manages company relationships with financial institutions to include cash management, deposits, loans, investments and checking to ensure efficient and effective use of company funds.
  • Works closely with key managers to identify capital needs and determine internal rates of return and return on investments of all capital projects.
  • Implement corrective actions as assigned by the superiors to correct financial performance.
  • Responsible to collect all information needed to prepare revenue and expenses budget and compilation.
  • Maintain the shareholders' account and make necessary entries and obtain confirmation from them every six months.
  • Assist the managers in implementing the changes required in policies & procedures.
  • Prepare the monthly consolidated financial statements with the highest level of accuracy and within the timeline including trial balance, balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statements, ratios, balance sheet schedules and any other report or information required by superiors.
  • Prepare, circulate, and monitor the monthly closing checklist.
  • Prepare the variance report on the actual vs. plan and analyze the same in order to escalate the nonperforming business in a timely manner.
  • Conduct quarterly random physical verification of inventory stocks and submit a Net realizable value report compared to the carrying value.
  • Responsible for controlling fixed assets, including tagging, yearly physical verification, and impairment testing.
  • Keep the accounts of foreign exchange earned, consumed, required, and purchased including the details of forward booking made.
