We, at Q Enrichment, are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join our family-oriented team. The Occupational Therapist must be capable of seeing pediatrics as well as adults. ABOUT Q ENRICHMENT CENTER

  • Q Enrichment Center is an early intervention, development and rehabilitation center.
  • We provide occupational therapy as well as speech, language and swallowing therapy.
  • Our clients range from infants to the elderly.
  • Our facility is located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, UAE.
  • Our mission is to provide the best quality of therapy and constant support for families.

THE ROLE ENCOMPASSES

  • Assessing, diagnosing and providing therapy for a wide range of motor, perceptual, cognitive, sensory and functional difficulties.
  • Designing and implementing a structured and individualized treatment program to assist infants, children and / or adults with various disorders, delays, difficulties, recovery and / or rehabilitation.
  • Providing the highest quality of customer care and customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Our working hours are from (9am 6pm, Monday
  • Friday), may include evenings and / or Saturday.
  • Provide ongoing guidance within each client's individualized program, ensuring each client's continued progress towards realizing their maximum potential.
  • Communicate effectively when providing advice, training and therapy programs with clients, family members, guardians, a spouse, other therapists, other healthcare professionals and education staff.
  • Participate in clinic / team meetings, workshops and training seminars as necessary.
  • Collect data, maintain and provide detailed and accurate updates on all progress and any material pertaining to the client and their individualized program into the Client Relationship Management system.
  • Create reports and progress notes highlighting the client's strengths and areas of need as well as recommendations on how to accelerate progress outside the therapy session.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide the best available plan of care and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be an advocate for and strive to protect the health, safety and rights of the client.
  • Behaviors and interactions demonstrate a positive attitude, personal initiative and motivation to achieve the goals of the unit.
  • To uphold the standards of the profession and organization and practice ethically with integrity.
  • Provide assessments and therapy at Q Enrichment Center as well as at a client's home or school.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school.
  • Licensed or eligible for a license from Dubai Health Authority and / or Department of Health
  • Abu Dhabi (formally known as Health Authority Abu Dhabi
  • HAAD).
  • Relevant work experience supported by a reference letter that is signed & stamped by your previous employer(s).
  • Able to analyze client data, behavior and modify the treatment plan as appropriate.
  • Ability to fabricate splints.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered, you must:

  • Have experience working with the adult population.
  • Be passionate about working with infants, children and adults with occupational therapy needs.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a requirement.
  • Be motivated, creative, proactive and have good problemsolving skills to design programs appropriate to different learning styles and client needs in the efforts to accelerate progress with early intervention, development and rehabilitation.
  • Be enthusiastic and have highenergy levels.
  • Be able to work independently as well as take and process directions from managers & mentors.
  • Be innovative with the ability to utilize next generation learning tools (eLearning).
  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills.

PREFERRED (but not essential)

  • Arabic language skills

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract, Permanent

Contract length: 24 months
