Al Bateen Academy is located in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi and is a hugely popular school based in a vibrant community.
The school is a high-achieving British and IB World School (Years 7 to 13) easily exceeding IB Diploma global averages year on year and achieving outstanding I/GCSE results.
The school recently expanded into primary years, starting with FS2 to Year 3, and developed this year to include a full primary provision, FS2 to Year 6.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an exciting addition and provides the community with an all-through school experience from FS1 to Year 13 offering PYP, UK, and IB Diploma options.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Certificate/Diploma or bachelor's degree certificate
Minimum Experience
- 2 years' experience in a receptionist or customerfacing role in the region
- Experience in a school or education setting is preferred
Job Specific Knowledge & Skill
- Fluent standard of English communication skills, written and oral.
- Attention to detail with diligent follow up, and able to execute in a timely manner
- Effective communicator at different levels, both orally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with customers in a diverse multicultural environment
- Computer literate, including all social media platforms.
- Attentiveness, able to listen effectively and ask questions
- A team player, willing to support colleagues to deliver results
- Willingness to learn
- Skilled in multitasking and handling pressure.
- Organizational ability, of self and others with impeccable office management skills
- Arabic speaking, reading and writing is preferable

Responsibilities
Main Duties
- Provide highquality customer service to all potential and existing customers.
- Your main responsibilities will include providing information to visitors on a full range of topics, answering phone calls in a courteous manner, and maintaining a database of school visitors.
Specific Duties
- Deliver highquality customer service to all visitors and staff, representing the Academy in a professional manner
- Greet visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
- Have a strong knowledge of the key information about the Academy
- Offer guidance and assistance to parents through the student registration and admission process during the initial enquiry stage
- Assist with school tours when necessary
- Provide general clerical/administrative support e.g., updating attendance registers
- Photocopying, filing, faxing, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence
- Undertake wordprocessing and other ITbased tasks e.g., database, excel, Internet research
- Produce lists/information/data as required e.g., class lists
- Sort and distribute mail
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls in a friendly and professional manner (following our standard telephone etiquette/ protocol)
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms and brochures)
- Assist the Admissions team with inbound and outbound calls
- Log admissions enquiries into the school MIS database
- Update calendars and schedule school tours
- Arrange transportation for visitors when required.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information about the schools, including the curriculum, education level and tuition fees.
- Respond to telephone calls and enquiries courteously and direct calls to appropriate school personnel, using the School Referral System
- Drive enrolments by promoting schools and summer programmes to prospective parents through conducting outbound calls.
- Assist with tasks assigned as and when required by the management team.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function, commensurate with the grading and level of responsibility of the post nurturing, parent tours)
