Accountable To

SOC/NOC Analyst will beresponsible for monitoring, identifying, investigating, prioritizing, escalating,and resolving incidents and problems. The types of incidents and impact would beconsiderably different. Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and manageincidents and problems in a way that reduces downtime. Focus on IT assets availability,reliability and performance.

Responsible for

  • Administer and manage monitoring tools. Onboard IT assets to the monitoring environment. Conduct regular assessment and update IT inventory.
  • Set thresholds, clipping levels, for IT assets and rules to alert respective team when breached.
  • Working Relationship
  • Evaluate received alerts, record incidents, problems in ITSM tool with all findings. Conduct iterations to identify root cause.
  • Work to resolve incidents and problems, engage with other team members when required. Document the solution or fix in ITSM tool or by report.
Objectives and Role Profile

  • Create necessary dashboards, standard operating procedures, incident reports, analytical and performance reports.
  • Write scripts and design automated functions to increase efficiency.
Key Tasks and Performance Indicators

  • Take assignments from line management, as and when business requires.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies

  • ComputerScience Engineering or related bachelor's degree and certifications.
  • 5+years of experience in related field.
  • Experiencein System, Network, End points, Application and Security monitoring tools isessential, such as SolarWinds, Next ink, LogRhythm, Data Centre Expert, Site24x7and Application performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshootproblems and find fixes for incident. Excellent problemsolving skills areessential.
  • Knowledgeand experience in ITSM tool are essential.
