We are looking to employ an female HR Assistant with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The HR officer is expected to be knowledgeable with employment legislation and possess the strategic and commercial insight to the labor process.

He or she must be able to negotiate with diplomacy.


To ensure success, an HR Assistant should display excellent organizational skills, good time-management skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

A top HR assistant should possess remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills to ensure employee compliance.

HR Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation, letter draft and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)
  • Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues rules, and regulations
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)
  • Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Monitoring employee performance.
  • Implementing systematic staff development procedures.
  • Providing counseling on policies and procedures.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper recordkeeping of employee information in electronic and digital format

Requirements:

Degree in Human Resources or related field

Excellent computer, MS Office skills are required

Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position

Excellent organizational skills

Strong communications skills in English
