Position Overview:

As a Bike Merchandiser in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) (beverages) sector, your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimize the product display and availability in retail outlets.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and sales of FMCG products through effective merchandising techniques while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Store Visits:
Regularly visit assigned retail outlets to assess product display, stock levels, and overall store presentation.

Merchandising Setup:
Organize and set up product displays according to the guidelines provided by the FMCG company. This includes arranging products on shelves, creating attractive product displays, and highlighting promotional offers.

Stock Management:

Monitor product stock levels in the store and communicate with store managers or distributors to ensure replenishment in a timely manner.

Minimize out-of-stock situations and avoid overstocking.

Product Rotation:

Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) method to maintain freshness of perishable goods and ensure older products are sold before newer ones.

Planogram Compliance:
Ensure compliance with planograms, shelf layouts, and brand visibility guidelines provided by the FMCG company.

Promotional Campaigns:
Execute in-store promotions and marketing activities as instructed by the FMCG company. Install and manage promotional materials such as posters, danglers, and shelf talkers.

Market Intelligence:

Gather information about competitors' products, pricing, and promotions, and report back to the FMCG company to help formulate effective marketing strategies.

Relationship Building:
Cultivate positive relationships with store managers and staff to facilitate smooth merchandising operations and promote collaboration.

Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of store visits, stock levels, and merchandising activities. Provide regular reports to the FMCG company on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Health and Safety:

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the merchandising process, keeping the store environment clean and safe for shoppers.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• A valid motorcycle license and own a bike for transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical fitness for lifting and moving products during merchandising activities.

Salary:
AED1, AED2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Language:

• ENGLISH (preferred)
• ARABIC (preferred)

License/Certification:

• BIKE LICENSE (preferred)
