As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to patients in various healthcare settings.

Your compassion, dedication, and skills are essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under your care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and feeding
  • Take and record vital signs
  • Help patients with mobility and positioning
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist nurses and medical staff with procedures as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Document patient interactions and care provided
  • Follow all protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety

Salary:
$15.00 per hour

Expected hours:
min 12 per week

Required Qualifications:

***The primary role of the Nursing Assistant/ Caregiver is to provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care in accordance with established facility nursing care procedures as directed by clinical supervisors. The Nursing Assistant reports any observed changes in resident condition as they occur. Performs routine resident care duties and tasks delegated by the registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or licensed therapist to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents. Provides services in a manner compliant with all state and federal regulations as well as with any applicable facility policies and procedures.

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability:

  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for the practice of professional nursing in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and standards for home health nursing.
  • Performs comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychological, and environmental parameters.
  • Develops and/or follows an individualized Plan of Care that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
  • Provides skilled interventions aimed at achieving realistic client outcomes within a specified time period.
  • Reports changes and information necessary to modify and update the care plan to reflect progress towards goals (outcomes).
  • Consistently demonstrates competency with technical nursing skills according to personal and legal scope of practice
  • Assessment skills as applied to the client, family/support system, and environment.
  • Teaching skills according to the client's needs and within the context of the client's environment, value system, and physical/emotional status.
