The position

Generate product family and / or project wide documentation for critical power supply projects in line with AEG guidelines and standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Produce device and project specific documentation, including but not limited to operating instructions, system descriptions and maintenance and assembly instructions in accordance with AEG guidelines and standards and any project specific requirements.
  • Compile documentation according to project specific requirements, including organizing documentation in multiple languages where required.
  • Generate basic system and device drawings using CAD system.
  • Support the allocation of documents to the Project Manager's and Documentation Controllers in accordance with procedures.
  • Set up and maintain distribution requirements.
  • Ensure that all issued Project Deliverables are correct in accordance with document control procedures.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure documents are executed in line with contractual requirements / dates.
  • Input and manage all documents within applicable databases using the appropriate document reference, revision, review code, etc.
Qualifications and requirements

  • Good secondary education, appropriate further education with an Engineering bias is desirable.
  • Projects / Sales office experience in a similar position in the Offshore / Industrial industry desirable.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and CAD
  • Experience of various document management packages and an understanding of how they work.
  • Ability to successfully interface with various departments and personnel at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Must be flexible, by providing support to Project Managers where necessary to facilitate the smooth execution of projects.
  • Strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Selfmotivated and capable of operating with mínimal supervision.
