Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on retail industry trends, including market size, growth projections and emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze consumer behavior, preferences and purchasing patterns to identify key market segments and target audiences.
  • Evaluate competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing strategies and market positioning.
  • Track market share dynamics, assess competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Collect and analyze sales data, customer feedback and operational metrics to identify patterns and insights.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Develop forecasts for sales, demand and inventory levels based on historical data and market trends.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support strategic planning initiatives and decisionmaking processes.
  • Provide insights to guide merchandising, marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency,and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices and emerging trends to continuously refine analysis methodologies and insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Analytics, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of handson experience in research analytics, ideally in the retail industry.
  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or business intelligence, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a passion for uncovering insights and solving business challenges.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated capability in Power BI for creating dynamic reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively sharing insights and collaborating with nontechnical team members.
