About the Role


Our fast-growing company is seeking to hire a Procurement & Logistics Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics strategy and operations to maximize - process efficiency and productivity.

In addition, He plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors.

The procurement & Logistics Manager must be able to analyze data and processes, find creative solutions, generate reports and present findings to upper management and other departments, communicate with external suppliers and buyers, comprehend legal documents, and develop lasting relationships with others.

They must proactive problem solvers with a desire to collaborate with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Procurement & Logistics Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services to ensure the best value for the organization. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing global procurement strategies, managing negotiations, and developing relationships with suppliers.
  • The Procurement & Logistics Manager will lead the sourcing and procurement process, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing relationships.
  • The Manager will ensure that the company is getting the best value for its money and that all purchases are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • The Manager will also be responsible for driving cost savings initiatives and ensuring that the company is taking full advantage of the best available terms and conditions.
  • The Manager must have excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills. He or she must be able to analyze data and make decisions quickly and accurately.
  • The Manager must monitor and report on key performance indicators
  • The Manager must also be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have experience in developing and implementing global procurement strategies.
  • Knowledge of international markets especially GCC countries and laws is also a plus.

Requirements:

Academic & Professional Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the relevant discipline, Master's degree will be preferred.
  • Education in supply chain or inventory management.
  • Wellversed with Microsoft Excel, Word & Power point tools

Related Experience:

  • 08 to 10 Years of Experience in relevant position
  • Experience with I.T. organization is preferred
  • Any certification or training courses on inventory management or supply chain are preferred
