is hiring a Female Interpreter / Translator (Arabic). Your main tasks will include
translating documents, recording video captions, and translating our website. To succeed in this role you should have a natural understanding of
Arabic and a good grasp of grammar.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting conversations between people speaking different languages, including legal, or business settings
  • Shall remain faithful to the original text and take responsibility for the accuracy, readability, and lucidity of the translation into the target language. Content accuracy includes detailed comparison of content, facts and figures and making sure there are no omissions from the source language.
  • Shall edit, standardize, proofread, revise and finalize translated material prepared by other employees and contractors.
  • Interpreting conversations from one written language to another, such as translating literature, official documents, contracts, or websites
  • Translating spoken language into written form for court proceedings, business meetings, concerts, speeches, and other events
  • Performing simultaneous interpretation services for large groups of people who speak different languages
  • Explaining cultural differences to clients in order to facilitate communication
  • Ensuring that all parties understand the content of discussions or negotiations by clarifying terms or concepts that may be unfamiliar to them
  • Interpreting written text into another language orally, especially in legal proceedings, business meetings, conferences & contracts
  • Interpreting written text into another language in written form, such as translating contracts or legislation into another language
  • Translating written text into another language orally, such as providing a live interpretation of a speech in another language
  • A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BA Literature in related field

Certified Arabic Translation license is an added advantage:


  • At least 4-6 years of overall professional experience:
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external clients / aggregators
  • Excellent negotiation skills

Excellent written communication skills in English and Arabic:

  • High comfort and tolerance to manage stress and role demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to provide leadership to a team and to work in a team environment
  • Has interpersonal qualities necessary to generate enthusiasm, integrity and build consensus with direct reports and staff members
  • A multitasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fastpaced environment
