Asan Interventional Cardiology Consultant you will specialize in thediagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases using minimallyinvasive procedures and advanced catheterbased techniques. You willprovide expert interventional cardiology care to patients focusingon coronary artery disease structural heart disease and peripheralvascular disease. Your expertise will contribute to improvingpatient outcomes enhancing quality of life and advancing the fieldof interventional cardiology within ourinstitution.

  • Conductcomprehensive assessments of patients with cardiovascular disordersincluding angina acute coronary syndrome valvular heart disease andperipheral arterydisease.
  • Performdetailed clinical evaluations review diagnostic tests and interpretimaging studies to accurately diagnose cardiac conditions anddetermine appropriate treatmentstrategies.
  • Performa wide range of interventional cardiology procedures includingcoronary angiography percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)coronary stent placement balloon valvuloplasty transcatheter aorticvalve replacement (TAVR) and peripheral arteryinterventions.
  • Utilizeadvanced imaging modalities such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fractional flow reserve(FFR) to optimize procedural planning andoutcomes.
  • Collaborateclosely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiac surgeonselectrophysiologists imaging specialists and cardiac rehabilitationproviders to coordinate comprehensive care for patients withcomplex cardiovascularconditions.
  • Providepreprocedural counseling and education to patients and theirfamilies regarding interventional cardiology procedures risksbenefits and postprocedural careinstructions.
  • Participatein oncall coverage schedules to provide timely evaluation andmanagement of acute cardiac emergencies such as STsegment elevationmyocardial infarction (STEMI) and highrisk unstableangina.
  • Engagein clinical research and scholarly activities to advance theunderstanding of interventional cardiology techniques outcomes andinnovations contributing to the academic mission of theinstitution.
  • Mentorand supervise trainees including cardiology fellows residents andallied healthcare professionals in the performance ofinterventional cardiology procedures and patientcare.
  • Maintainaccurate and timely documentation of procedural details patientoutcomes and followup care in electronic medical records incompliance with regulatory requirements and institutionalpolicies.


RequirementsExperienceFrom US (Board) Canada (Royal College Fellowship) UK (CCT) Ireland(CSD CSCST) Australia &NZ (Fellowship) France (DES DESC)And Other European Countries According to The QualificationEquivalence Tables of the UAEMOH
Minimum 2 to 3 yearsexperience in a hospital environment Western and Asian countriesexperience is preferred. Asians with Gulf experience arepreferred.
Proficiencyin performing interventional cardiologyprocedures.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Officesuite
Fluency in written andspoken English
MOH registeredPreferred
Ability to multitaskprioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpacedenvironment.
Willing to workflexible hours as and whenrequired
