Job Description

1- Description of the Role

  • Responsible for the delivery of high-quality compliance services to a number of clients of SOCOTEC
  • Specialise in the high-quality delivery of at least two of the consultancy areas within SOCOTEC
  • Exceed client expectations
  • Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with relevant instructions
  • Comply with SOCOTEC's group policies and procedures
  • Clearly recognise the need to develop their professional skills
  • Identify business opportunities for SOCOTEC and work closely with the Commercial team to develop these

Fulfil the role of Account Manager for assigned clients as determined by the Operations Manager

2 - Duties And Responsibilities

  • To service the needs of SOCOTEC clients
  • Deliver services within the timeframes dictated by the client and SOCOTEC. Ensure that the Operations Manager is made aware of aware of any problems with delivering to the deadlines
  • To ensure that all documents are submitted to the office in a timely fashion
  • Attend all Team Meetings held at Head Office
  • To ensure that all client work delivered is of a high quality
  • Ensure that any professional memberships are maintained. The Operations Manager will confirm which professional memberships are required and endorsed by the company
  • To stand out as a good example to all staff
  • To undertake such other responsibilities that might reasonably be required by the company
  • To form part of the peer review team within SOCOTEC
  • Ensure the highest standards of administration

3 - Health And Safety Responsibilities

  • To comply with Socotec International and client quality, safety and environmental systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure that all accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.
  • To work within the team to develop a culture where everyone embraces, upholds and accepts responsibility for a safe workplace, a healthy working life, a sustainable environment and the right and duty to intervene.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 or Degree in Health & Safety
  • Five years' experience in a similar role
  • IOSH Graduate Membership
  • Quodorat Membership
