About you....

Role: Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Engineer with a background in Electrical, Instrumentation, or similar fields, along with 4-6 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in designing, programming, and commissioning various automation systems, particularly those from Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, and ABB RTU.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Independently handle automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • System Design: Design automation solutions tailored to the specific needs of water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as industrial automation projects.
  • Programming: Develop robust PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) programs using software platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, Schneider Unity Pro, and ABB programming tools.
  • Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning process, ensuring that automation systems are installed, tested, and integrated correctly into existing infrastructure.
  • Technical Support: Provide online and remote technical support to clients, troubleshooting issues, and offering timely solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all projects, including technical specifications, commissioning reports, and user manuals.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

· Minimum: 3-4years.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Self-driven, and work independently under minimum supervision.
