Role Overview:

Join the distinguished team at DELANO Dubai as a Barista where your passion for coffee meets exceptional service. As a Barista, you will be at the heart of our vibrant café or bar area, crafting exquisite coffee beverages and providing a delightful experience for our guests. Your expertise will ensure that every cup reflects the sophistication and elegance of our luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coffee Preparation : Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages with precision and flair. Ensure that every drink is served to the highest standard of DELANO Dubai.
  2. Guest Interaction : Engage with guests to create memorable experiences, offering personalized recommendations and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor. Anticipate guest preferences and provide exceptional service at all times.
  3. Product Knowledge : Possess a deep understanding of coffee beans, brewing techniques, and the various products offered. Share your knowledge with guests to enhance their experience and guide them in selecting their perfect beverage.
  4. Maintain Cleanliness & Organization : Ensure the coffee station, equipment, and surrounding areas are kept clean, organized, and well-maintained. Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
  5. Order Management : Efficiently manage multiple orders, ensuring prompt service and accuracy. Maintain an orderly flow in a busy café or bar environment while providing attention to detail in every beverage.
  6. Assist with Stock & Inventory : Help manage inventory for coffee beans, syrups, teas, and other beverage-related products. Notify supervisors of any stock shortages or product issues to maintain smooth operations.
  7. Support Team Collaboration : Work closely with the front-of-house team, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service and contribute to the overall team effort in creating a memorable guest experience.
  8. Stay Updated : Keep abreast of coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and innovative beverage offerings to continually enhance your skills and improve the guest experience.
Qualifications
  • Luxury Experience: You have a proven track record in a luxury hospitality environment - luxury hotel, high-end restaurant, or specialty coffee shop, showcasing your ability to deliver sophisticated and discreet service that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Exceptional Skills: Your communication and interpersonal skills are exemplary, allowing you to engage with guests in a refined manner that enhances their experience.
  • Operational Knowledge: You're proficient in luxury hotel operations and management software, with a solid understanding of sophisticated service protocols that ensure smooth operations.
  • Educational Background: A relevant educational qualification, such as a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, is preferred, aligning with our commitment to excellence.
