WHAT WILL YOU DO

Your main duties and responsibilities are:

•Assist members and guests with their wine or sake selection, and serve wines/sake according to the Standard Operating
Procedures, while providing friendly, courteous and professional service

•Ensure the wine and sake lists are up to date with correct vintages and prices, and that all products are stored properly in
the cellar and on display

•Ensure mise-en-place and correct stock levels are in place before each service, and wines and sake are kept and served at
the correct temperature

•Assist with monitoring and managing all glassware to ensure that all stock is maintained in an appropriate condition

•Keep operating costs to a minimum by efficient and responsible use of resources such as glassware and other
equipment

•Support sales and ensure relevant/appropriate suggestions are made with regards to wine, sake and cocktails

•Display professional salesmanship and positive sales techniques at all times

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

•Minimum 2 years' experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurant

•Internationally recognised professional certification

•Excellent level of English, written and spoken

•Ability to recommend food and wine/sake pairings

•Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility

•Excellent communication and listening skills

•Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality

•Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time

• Impeccable manners

• Immaculate personal presentation and well-spoken
